Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Itch Derm Kt 5 Cream is a topical fixed-dose combination cream developed and marketed by Canbro Healthcare. It is formulated to treat a wide variety of mixed skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi, particularly those accompanied by inflammatory symptoms such as redness, swelling, and itching. The cream contains five active ingredients: clobetasol propionate (a high-potency corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching), ketoconazole (an imidazole antifungal that inhibits fungal cell membrane synthesis), clioquinol (iodochlorhydroxyquin, an antibacterial and antifungal agent that acts as a metal chelator), tolnaftate (a thiocarbamate antifungal that inhibits squalene epoxidase), and neomycin sulphate (an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis). Together, these components provide broad-spectrum antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory activity for localized dermatological conditions.
