Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The iterative-process highly-effective human diploid rabies vaccine is an advanced, upgraded version of traditional human diploid rabies vaccines. Developed by AIM Vaccine, this vaccine is characterized by its significantly improved product quality, safety, and higher potency compared to first-generation human diploid rabies vaccines and Vero cell rabies vaccines. It addresses and overcomes technical challenges such as low virus titer and yield encountered in conventional production processes. The vaccine functions by inducing a robust immune response, specifically the production of high levels of protective antibodies, against the rabies virus. Its primary indication is for the prevention of rabies, a disease known for its nearly 100% fatality rate. This upgraded vaccine also offers flexible administration schedules, including five-needle, simple four-needle, or 2-1-1 four-needle approaches.
