ITI-4000

ITI-4000 is an investigational **DNA vaccine** developed by Immunomic Therapeutics for Epstein-Barr virus associated cancers, particularly nasopharyngeal carcinoma and potentially EBV-positive gastric cancer. It is built on the company's lysosomal targeting nucleic acid vaccine platform and is designed to encode the Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen 1, driving enhanced antigen presentation and a T-cell mediated anti-tumor immune response. Preclinical reports describe induction of interferon gamma and tumor necrosis factor alpha producing effector-memory CD4-positive and CD8-positive T cells and antitumor activity in EBNA1-expressing tumor models, but there is no clear evidence of regulatory approval or established commercial use.
