Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ITI-8000 is a monoclonal antibody developed as a next-generation checkpoint inhibitor targeting the activin A receptor type 1C (ALK7). By inhibiting ALK7, also known as activin A receptor type 1C, ITI-8000 blocks the binding of activin A, which is implicated in tumor growth and immune evasion. The drug is being investigated primarily for neoplasms (cancers) and remains in preclinical development. It was originated and is actively developed by Immunomic Therapeutics[1][2].
