Overview

**iTOL-201** is an investigational regenerative medicine program for liver failure developed by iTolerance in collaboration with LyGenesis. It combines iTolerance's localized immune-tolerance technology, consisting of SA-FasL microgels based on a Streptavidin-FasL fusion protein and biotin-PEG microgel carrier, with LyGenesis' hepatocyte-based liver cell therapy, LYG-LIV-100. The candidate is intended to support engraftment and expansion of transplanted human hepatocytes to form functional ectopic liver tissue while avoiding chronic systemic immunosuppression. Publicly reported work includes in vitro studies and planned preclinical animal-model evaluation. ([itolerance.com](https://itolerance.com/itol-201-liver-function-regeneration/))
