Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ITR-XXX is an early-stage targeted protein degrader (TPD) being developed by Iteria Biopharma for the treatment of solid tumors. The drug is designed to induce the selective degradation of an undisclosed kinase target by utilizing the cell's internal ubiquitin-proteasome system. As a protein degrader, it aims to overcome limitations associated with traditional kinase inhibitors, such as target overexpression or the development of compensatory mutations, by completely removing the pathogenic protein rather than just inhibiting its activity. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development, following Iteria's strategy of applying its TPD platform to challenging oncology targets.
