Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ITR2202** is an investigational topical fixed-dose acne treatment developed by Hangzhou SoliPharma for **acne vulgaris**. It is a nanoemulsion follicular-targeted lotion containing **adapalene 0.1%** and **dapsone 7.5%**. Adapalene is a topical retinoid that activates retinoic acid receptors, normalizing keratinocyte differentiation and reducing comedone formation, while dapsone provides non-antibiotic antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity. The formulation is designed to increase delivery and retention of the active ingredients at pilosebaceous follicles. ITR2202 entered a randomized, double-blind Phase 1 study in healthy Chinese adults evaluating single-dose safety, tolerability, local skin reactions, and pharmacokinetics.
