Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IUAb190708 is a bispecific antibody targeting Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and 4-1BB (CD137), developed by Innovative Biopharmaceuticals (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. for the treatment of advanced or recurrent solid tumors. The molecule is designed to simultaneously block the PD-1/PD-L1 immunosuppressive axis and provide co-stimulatory signaling through 4-1BB. A critical feature of IUAb190708 is its conditional 4-1BB agonism, which is triggered only upon binding to PD-L1-expressing cells in the tumor microenvironment. This spatial restriction is intended to enhance anti-tumor immune responses while mitigating the systemic toxicities, particularly hepatotoxicity, associated with non-targeted 4-1BB agonists. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation.
