Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IUB ADIRA is an intrauterine drug delivery system developed by OCON Therapeutics for the treatment of uterine fibroids. It is based on the company's proprietary IUB (Intra-Uterine Ball) platform, which features a flexible, spherical frame made of nitinol (a shape-memory alloy). This spherical design is intended to improve patient comfort and reduce the risks of malposition or uterine perforation associated with traditional T-shaped intrauterine devices. The IUB ADIRA system is designed to provide sustained, local delivery of therapeutic agents directly to the uterine cavity to manage fibroid symptoms and growth.
