Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IVA-mAb is a monoclonal antibody developed by IDBiologics for the treatment and prevention of Influenza A virus (IAV) infections. It is designed to neutralize a broad range of IAV strains, including seasonal variants and pandemic-potential strains such as H1N1, H3N2, H5N1, and H7N9. The antibody is part of IDBiologics' infectious disease portfolio and is intended to be used either as a standalone therapy or as part of a combination 'Pan-Influenza' regimen alongside IVB-mAb to provide protection against both Influenza A and B viruses. The mechanism of action involves binding to and neutralizing the virus, thereby preventing viral entry into host cells and reducing viral replication.
