Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**IVAC** is an individualized therapeutic neoantigen peptide vaccine developed by SLK Kliniken Heilbronn for advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Each patient-specific vaccine is designed using tumor and matched-normal sequencing to identify mutations, followed by selection of HLA-binding peptides derived from mutated proteins. In IVAC-RCC-001, IVAC was evaluated as an add-on to nivolumab maintenance after ipilimumab plus nivolumab induction, with the intended effect of inducing de novo tumor-neoantigen-specific T-cell responses.
