iVAC-CLL-XS15

iVAC-CLL-XS15 is a personalized multi-peptide vaccine developed by the University Hospital Tuebingen for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The vaccine is tailored to each patient's human leukocyte antigen (HLA) allotype and immunopeptidome, utilizing a warehouse of premanufactured CLL-associated peptides. These peptides are combined with XS15, a novel Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) ligand, and emulsified in Montanide ISA 51 VG to enhance the immune response. The vaccine aims to induce anti-leukemic T cell responses to eliminate residual tumor cells, particularly in patients undergoing ibrutinib-based therapy who have detectable minimal residual disease (MRD).
