IVAC-XS15-CLL01

IVAC-XS15-CLL01 is a personalized multi-peptide vaccine being developed by the University Hospital Tuebingen for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The vaccine is composed of multiple patient-specific peptides selected based on individual tumor characteristics, which are administered in combination with XS15, a novel Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) ligand that serves as a potent adjuvant. This therapeutic approach is designed to stimulate a robust anti-tumor T-cell response in CLL patients who have achieved at least a partial remission with detectable minimal residual disease (MRD) while undergoing treatment with the BTK inhibitor ibrutinib. By targeting multiple antigens simultaneously and utilizing the XS15 adjuvant to enhance immune activation, the vaccine aims to eliminate residual leukemia cells and prevent disease relapse.
