IVF001 is a transdermal patch formulation of triptorelin, a synthetic decapeptide gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist analogue, being developed by Pantec Biosolutions for use in assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization. The patch is designed to deliver triptorelin systemically through the skin using Pantec’s P.L.E.A.S.E. laser-assisted delivery technology, aiming to provide controlled pituitary downregulation and prevention of premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surges while improving convenience and tolerability compared with injectable GnRH agonists.[11][17] As with other triptorelin-based regimens, sustained GnRH receptor stimulation initially triggers a transient rise in gonadotropins, followed by receptor desensitization and reduced gonadotropin secretion, thereby enabling controlled ovarian stimulation protocols in IVF.[11]
