Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IVF002 is an investigational follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)–based fertility drug being developed as a novel product for controlled ovarian stimulation in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is designed to stimulate ovarian follicle growth via activation of the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor on granulosa cells, promoting multi-follicular development required for oocyte retrieval in assisted reproductive technologies. Early clinical work by Pantec Biosolutions has shown successful follicle stimulation and achievement of at least one pregnancy in exploratory proof-of-concept studies in IVF patients, with the program advanced to phase 2 development for infertility treatment.[7]
