ivIGMA is an intravenous immunoglobulin preparation enriched with IgMA, IgA, and IgG, containing 7.8 g IgM, 7.8 g IgA, and 49.4 g IgG. It was investigated as a therapy for neutropenic patients suffering from hematologic malignancies and sepsis syndrome or septic shock. Clinical trials, however, indicated that ivIGMA therapy did not provide a beneficial effect on mortality compared to human albumin in this patient population.
