Overview

IVL2002 is a long-acting injectable (LAI) small molecule formulation currently in preclinical development for the prevention of heartworm in veterinary medicine. Developed by Inventage Lab in partnership with Virbac, the candidate utilizes the proprietary IVL-DrugFlow microsphere technology to achieve sustained release of the active ingredient. This formulation is designed to provide extended protection against *Dirofilaria immitis*, potentially improving treatment compliance over traditional monthly preventatives by reducing the frequency of administration.
