Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Ivonescimab + Datroway** (datopotamab deruxtecan) is an investigational combination regimen consisting of ivonescimab, a first-in-class bispecific antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), and Datroway, a trophoblast cell surface antigen 2 (TROP2)-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) carrying a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload (DXd). Developed under a clinical trial collaboration between Summit Therapeutics, Akeso, AstraZeneca, and Daiichi Sankyo, this combination leverages the synergistic potential of dual immune checkpoint blockade and anti-angiogenesis alongside targeted cytotoxic chemotherapy. The regimen is primarily being evaluated in Phase III clinical trials as a first-line treatment for patients with advanced solid tumors, starting with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), as well as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
