Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IVT-8086 is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody being developed by Innova Therapeutics for oncology indications, with primary focus on osteosarcoma. The antibody targets secreted frizzled-related protein 2 and acts as an antagonist of SFRP2-driven non-canonical Wnt/Ca2+ signaling, with reported downstream effects including reduced tumor angiogenesis and migration, increased tumor cell apoptosis, and reversal of T-cell exhaustion. It has also been described in development for other solid tumors such as sarcomas, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer, and received FDA Rare Pediatric Disease Designation for osteosarcoma in September 2020. Available information indicates the program has been in preclinical, late-stage pre-IND development, and no brand name has been identified.
