ivuxolimab

Ivuxolimab is a fully human monoclonal antibody that acts as an agonist of the OX40 receptor (CD134), a costimulatory receptor expressed on activated CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. By binding to and activating OX40, ivuxolimab stimulates proliferation and activation of memory and effector T lymphocytes. This leads to enhanced T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. Ivuxolimab is being developed primarily for use in oncology as an immunotherapy for various solid tumors—including melanoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, triple negative breast cancer—as well as in combination with other immunotherapies such as PD-L1 inhibitors (avelumab) or 4-1BB agonists (utomilumab). Clinical studies have shown preliminary antitumor activity and immune activation with a manageable safety profile[2][3][6][8].
