IVX037

IVX037 is a proprietary oncolytic RNA virus therapy developed by ImmVirX. It is designed to selectively target and infect cancer cells by binding to specific receptors that are overexpressed on tumor cells, allowing for selective replication within malignant tissue while sparing normal, healthy cells. Upon intratumoral administration, IVX037 replicates in and lyses tumor cells, leading to direct cell death and the release of tumor antigens. This process stimulates both innate and adaptive immune responses against the cancer. Early clinical data indicate that IVX037 induces inflammatory cytokines such as CXCL10 and demonstrates anti-tumor activity in injected lesions. The drug is being evaluated as monotherapy and in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors (notably sintilimab) for advanced solid tumors including metastatic colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, ovarian cancer, adenocarcinoma of the gastroesophageal junction, liver cancer, and other solid tumors.
