Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IVX037 + CAR-T is an experimental combination therapy being developed by ImmVirx for the treatment of solid tumors. The regimen consists of IVX037, a bioselected oncolytic RNA virus, administered in conjunction with Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. The oncolytic virus component is designed to selectively replicate within and destroy cancer cells, while simultaneously inducing an inflammatory response that may improve the trafficking and effector function of CAR-T cells within the typically immunosuppressive solid tumor microenvironment. The CAR-T component is engineered to target a specific, undisclosed antigen referred to as novel receptor #1. This dual-action approach aims to overcome the historical limitations of CAR-T therapies in solid malignancies. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
