Overview

A combination of ixabepilone, a microtubule inhibitor, and sorafenib, a multi-kinase inhibitor. This combination was studied in clinical trials for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer, particularly HER2-negative breast cancer. While showing some antitumor activity, the combination demonstrated poor tolerability with high rates of adverse events including fatigue, nausea, rash, and neuropathy.
