ixekizumab + methotrexate

Ixekizumab + methotrexate is a combination therapy used primarily for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. Ixekizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that selectively binds to and neutralizes interleukin-17A (IL-17A), a pro-inflammatory cytokine implicated in autoimmune diseases such as plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis. Methotrexate is a folate analog antimetabolite that inhibits several enzymes involved in nucleotide synthesis, leading to suppression of inflammation and immunosuppression.
