Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IXT-009 is an investigational inhalation therapy being developed by invoX Pharma, a subsidiary of Sino Biopharmaceutical. It is formulated for delivery via the proprietary Softhaler® platform, a high-performance dry powder inhaler (DPI) designed to deliver medication deep into the lungs independently of the patient's inspiratory flow rate. IXT-009 is currently in early-stage development for the treatment of Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS) and Asthma. The Softhaler® technology is intended to improve the therapeutic index of drugs by enhancing pulmonary deposition and potentially reducing systemic side effects. While the specific active pharmaceutical ingredient and its molecular target have not been publicly disclosed, the program represents an expansion of inhaled delivery into neuromuscular and chronic respiratory conditions.
