Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Izalontamab brengitecan + axitinib** is an investigational combination therapy for advanced solid tumors, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Izalontamab brengitecan (BL-B01D1, also known as iza-bren) is a first-in-class bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting EGFR and HER3, conjugated to a novel topoisomerase I inhibitor payload through a tetrapeptide cleavable linker. Axitinib is a small molecule inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1, VEGFR2, and VEGFR3). The combination aims to inhibit tumor growth by targeting receptor-mediated growth signaling and tumor angiogenesis.
