JAB-BX300 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), a cytokine implicated in tumor progression and immune evasion, particularly in KRAS-driven cancers. By binding to LIF, JAB-BX300 prevents signaling through the LIF receptor, thereby inhibiting tumor growth and reversing immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment. Preclinical studies have demonstrated significant anti-tumor activity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) models and other solid tumors, with effects including decreased M2 macrophages and activation of natural killer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. The drug is being developed by Jacobio Pharma for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, especially those driven by oncogenic KRAS mutations[1][2][5].
