Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JAK3 inhibitor (Guangzhou Nanxin Pharmaceutical) is a small-molecule inhibitor of Janus kinase 3 (JAK3) and TEC family kinases currently in preclinical development. Developed by Guangzhou Nanxin Pharmaceutical, it is being investigated for the treatment of various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, vitiligo, ulcerative colitis, and alopecia. By targeting JAK3, the drug blocks the signaling of cytokines that share the common gamma chain receptor subunit, such as IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-9, IL-15, and IL-21, which are vital for T-cell and NK-cell function. The additional inhibition of TEC family kinases may further modulate B-cell and T-cell receptor signaling, potentially offering a differentiated therapeutic profile for immune-mediated diseases.
