Overview
This JAK3 inhibitor is a preclinical small-molecule therapeutic being developed by Nucien Pharmaceuticals. It is designed to dual-target Janus kinase 3 (JAK3) and TEC family kinases. By inhibiting JAK3, the drug modulates the signaling of cytokines that utilize the common gamma chain receptor, which are critical for T-cell and NK-cell function. The additional targeting of TEC kinases may provide synergistic effects in suppressing immune-mediated inflammatory responses. The drug is being investigated for the treatment of various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, vitiligo, and alopecia areata.
