Japanese encephalitis inactivated vaccine

Japanese encephalitis inactivated vaccine is a biologic vaccine used to prevent infection caused by the Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV), a mosquito-borne flavivirus that can cause severe neurological disease. The inactivated vaccines are produced using Vero cell culture technology and work by stimulating the immune system to produce protective antibodies against JEV. The primary indication is for individuals traveling to or living in areas where Japanese encephalitis is endemic, as well as for military personnel and laboratory workers at risk of exposure.
