Overview
Japanese encephalitis virus vaccine + Advax is a recombinant protein vaccine candidate developed by Vaxine. It consists of recombinant flavivirus antigens formulated with Vaxine's proprietary Advax adjuvant, which is based on delta-inulin. The vaccine is designed to provide broad-spectrum protection against Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) and related flaviviruses that cause encephalitis. Preclinical data suggests that the formulation induces robust immune responses and offers cross-protection against Murray Valley encephalitis virus (MVEV), Kunjin virus, and West Nile Virus (WNV). The use of the Advax adjuvant is intended to enhance the vaccine's immunogenicity while maintaining a high safety profile.
