Jasmate Klinika Mouthwash

Jasmate Klinika Mouthwash is a herbal-based oral formulation developed for the management of dentin hypersensitivity. It contains a combination of 5% potassium nitrate and 2% curcumin. Potassium nitrate acts as a desensitizing agent by increasing extracellular potassium ion concentration, which depolarizes the nerve endings in the dental pulp and prevents the transmission of pain signals. Curcumin, a bioactive compound from turmeric, provides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to support oral health and reduce gingival inflammation. The formulation is being evaluated in a randomized, single-blind Phase 3 clinical trial (NCT06627790) sponsored by Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital to compare its efficacy against standard potassium oxalate-based mouthwashes.
