Overview
The jasminum subtriplinerve ethyl acetate fraction is a botanical extract derived from the aerial parts or leaves of the Vietnamese traditional medicinal herb *Jasminum subtriplinerve* Blume. It is a research-stage small molecule complex containing bioactive compounds such as phenylpropanoid glycosides, flavonoid glycosides, and triterpenes. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that this specific fraction possesses significant chemopreventive and anti-proliferative properties, particularly against breast cancer cell lines like MCF-7. Its biological activity is characterized by the elevation of Interleukin-2 (IL-2) levels and the suppression of Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) expression in serum, suggesting an immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory mechanism of action. It is currently being evaluated in academic research for its potential application as a functional food or therapeutic agent for cancer prevention.
