Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jawarish Muqawwi-e-Meda is a traditional Unani semi-solid herbal formulation (Jawarish) developed and manufactured by Dawakhana Tibbiya College (Aligarh Muslim University). It is formulated to strengthen the stomach, liver, and intestines, and is primarily indicated for the treatment of digestive troubles, including indigestion, flatulence, loss of appetite, and mild to chronic constipation. The formulation contains a blend of classical Unani herbs such as Qust Shireen (Sweet Costus), Taj Qalmi (Cassia bark), Balchhar (Spikenard), and other natural ingredients that synergistically support gastrointestinal health, promote the secretion of digestive enzymes, and regulate bowel movements.
