Overview

JBS-002 is an investigational gallium-68 (Ga-68) based radiopharmaceutical cold kit developed by Juniper Biosciences for precision prostate cancer imaging. It is designed as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent that binds directly to prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) overexpressed on the surface of prostate cancer cells, rendering lesions visible on a whole-body scan. JBS-002 is utilized for staging men with high-risk prostate cancer before definitive treatment and localizing recurrence sites in patients with rising prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels after surgery or radiation.
