Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**JCAR017 + iberdomide** is an investigational combination therapy involving JCAR017 (lisocabtagene maraleucel), a CD19-directed chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy, and iberdomide (CC-220), a cereblon E3 ligase modulator (CELMoD) small molecule agent. JCAR017 is manufactured as a defined composition of CD4+ and CD8+ CAR T cells designed to target and destroy CD19-expressing malignant B cells via autologous cell therapy. Iberdomide acts as a CELMoD agent, enhancing tumoricidal and immune-stimulatory effects in hematologic malignancies, particularly by modulating the cereblon (CRBN) substrate receptor to induce anti-cancer immune activation and direct tumor cell apoptosis. The combination is primarily being explored in relapsed/refractory B-cell malignancies[1][7][9].
