Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JCXH-112 is a therapeutic mRNA vaccine developed by Jiachen Xihai (Immorna Biotherapeutics) for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The vaccine utilizes mRNA technology to encode a fusion multi-epitope HBV antigen, which is designed to stimulate the host's immune system to elicit potent antiviral T-cell and antibody responses. This approach aims to overcome immune tolerance in chronic HBV patients and facilitate viral clearance. As of early 2024, the program is in the IND-enabling/preclinical stage of development, targeting both FDA and NMPA regulatory pathways.
