JD010

JD010 is an allogeneic, "off-the-shelf" chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) modified natural killer (NK) cell therapy. It is derived from healthy donor NK cells and engineered to express a CAR specific for the CD19 antigen. CD19 is a cell surface protein found on most B-cell malignancies, including various types of leukemia and lymphoma. The therapy is being developed by the Affiliated Hospital to Academy of Military Medical Sciences for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell hematologic malignancies. Unlike autologous CAR-T therapies, JD010 utilizes NK cells which may offer a reduced risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and cytokine release syndrome (CRS), while providing a more readily available treatment option.
