Drug intelligence / Profile preview
JDQQ Formula (Jie Du Qing Qu Formula) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Described as a detoxification and lung-clearing therapy, it is primarily investigated for its potential to improve survival benefits and clinical efficacy in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Specifically, it is being studied in patients with lung adenocarcinoma harboring EGFR-sensitive mutations who have developed resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). In clinical trials, the formula is typically administered orally in combination with standard Western medical regimens, such as platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with or without bevacizumab, to evaluate its role in enhancing therapeutic response and overcoming drug resistance.
