Drug intelligence / Profile preview
"JEV RNA vaccine" is an RNA vaccine candidate developed by Tiba Biotech for the prevention of Japanese Encephalitis Virus (JEV) infection. It utilizes Tiba's proprietary RNABL™ platform, which employs dendrimer-based nanoparticles for RNA delivery. This platform aims to produce vaccines that are more thermostable (requiring only 4°C refrigeration), less reactogenic, and more cost-effective than existing lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-based technologies. The development is supported by seed grant funding from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) as part of its '100 Days Mission' to advance novel RNA platforms for rapid pandemic response. Tiba Biotech has committed to CEPI's equitable access policy for any developed vaccines.
