Jia Wei Jing Xie Yin

Jia Wei Jing Xie Yin is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine formula, originally derived from the classic prescription "Jing Xie Yin" created by TCM doctor Wu Jun. It is primarily used for the treatment of psoriasis, especially the blood-heat type. Clinical and preclinical studies have demonstrated that Jia Wei Jing Xie Yin exerts significant anti-psoriatic effects by modulating immune responses. Its mechanism of action involves inhibition of Th17 cell responses and downregulation of related cytokines such as interleukin-17A (IL-17A), IL-17F, IL-1β, interferon gamma (IFN-γ), and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α). The formula also regulates gamma delta T cells and suppresses the interleukin-23/T-helper 17 immune inflammation axis. There is no significant effect on Th1 or regulatory T cells (Treg). The preparation consists of multiple herbal ingredients processed according to traditional decoction methods[1][2][3][6].
