Jiajian Guishen Formulation (JJGS) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation primarily used to treat female reproductive disorders, including Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) and Poor Ovarian Response (POR). It is a modified version of the classic 'Guishen Wan' formula, traditionally employed to 'tonify the kidney' and regulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis. Clinical research, largely conducted by institutions such as the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has focused on its ability to improve ovarian reserve markers like Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) and Antral Follicle Count (AFC), as well as its potential to enhance pregnancy outcomes in patients undergoing assisted reproductive technology.
