Jiangya Tongluo Formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal prescription developed by the Oriental Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for its renal protective effects in patients with early to mid-stage hypertensive nephrosclerosis. The formula is designed to lower blood pressure and 'dredge collaterals' (improve microcirculation and reduce fibrosis) to mitigate hypertensive renal damage.
