Jiangzhi Ninggan Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by the Guangzhou Boda Pharmaceutical High-Tech Research Center for the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and hyperlipidemia. The formulation consists of several botanical extracts, including *Polygonum multiflorum*, *Crataegus pinnatifida*, *Alisma plantago-aquatica*, *Cassia obtusifolia*, *Salvia miltiorrhiza*, and *Artemisia capillaris*. It is designed to regulate lipid metabolism, reduce hepatic fat accumulation, and exert antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects on liver tissue. Clinical studies have focused on its ability to lower serum triglycerides and cholesterol while improving liver function and reducing steatosis. The drug has progressed through Phase III clinical trials in China.
