Overview
Jianpi Jiangzhuo Decoction granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the Beijing Pinggu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically designed to treat asymptomatic hyperuricemia, particularly in patients presenting with the TCM syndrome of spleen deficiency and turbid obstruction. The decoction aims to "strengthen the spleen" (Jianpi) and "resolve turbidity" (Jiangzhuo), which in a modern clinical context translates to the reduction of serum uric acid levels. It is currently being evaluated in a prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to assess its efficacy and safety in adult patients.
