Overview
Jianpi Qinghua is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of newly diagnosed overweight and obese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, specifically those presenting with the TCM syndrome of deficiency of both Qi and Yin. The formula is designed to strengthen the spleen (Jianpi) and clear and transform (Qinghua) metabolic disturbances.
