Overview
Jianpi Shengxue Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal granule formulation combined with Western nutritional elements, primarily used for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in children and adults, as well as cancer-related anemia and renal anemia. Developed and manufactured by Jianmin Group, the formulation consists of 13 traditional Chinese medicinal herbs—including *Codonopsis pilosula*, *Poria cocos*, *Atractylodes macrocephala*, *Glycyrrhiza uralensis* (licorice), *Astragalus membranaceus*, *Dioscorea opposita* (Chinese yam), chicken gizzard membrane, tortoise shell, *Ophiopogon japonicus*, *Kadsura longepedunculata*, oysters, *Ziziphus jujuba* (jujube), and fossil bone (longgu)—co-formulated with ferrous sulfate and vitamin C. It works by strengthening the spleen and stomach to enhance gastrointestinal absorption while directly supplementing iron to promote erythropoiesis and improve hemoglobin levels.
