Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jianpi Yangxue Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Zhejiang Cancer Hospital). It is primarily investigated as an adjuvant therapy for patients with recurrent ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and primary peritoneal cancer who are undergoing targeted therapy. The formula is designed according to TCM principles to 'strengthen the spleen' (Jianpi) and 'nourish the blood' (Yangxue). Its clinical application aims to enhance the efficacy and safety of targeted treatments, improve patient quality of life, and extend progression-free survival. Research into its mechanism involves analyzing changes in immune indicators, proteomics, and serum and urine metabolites to evaluate its synergistic and detoxifying effects in the context of cancer treatment.
