Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Jianpixiaozhong + Wuse Dietotherapy is a combination therapeutic regimen consisting of a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation and a specific dietary therapy. Developed by researchers at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this combination is specifically investigated for the treatment of multi-drug resistant (MDR) idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) in patients presenting with Pixushuifan syndrome (Spleen Deficiency and Water Flooding). The Jianpixiaozhong component (also known as Jianpiyiqi and Huoxuejiedu Recipe) is designed to invigorate the spleen, benefit qi, and promote blood circulation to resolve dampness and reduce edema. Wuse Dietotherapy (Five-Color Dietotherapy) is a complementary nutritional intervention based on TCM principles that utilizes specific food groups to support organ function and overall recovery.
