Overview

Jiawei Qingluo is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed as a granule for the treatment of active rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Specifically indicated for patients presenting with the Dampness-heat obstruction syndrome (Shi-Re-Bi) according to TCM diagnostic criteria, the formula is designed to clear heat, resolve dampness, and unblock the collaterals. It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials to assess its efficacy and safety in reducing disease activity and improving symptoms in RA patients. The development is led by Yijishan Hospital of Wannan Medical College.
